Heliogabalus
(Emperor, 218-222 AD)

His idea of a prank was to put lions, leopards, and bears into the rooms of sleeping houseguests and lock the door. He was also fond of hitching naked girls to his carriage and flogging them through the streets of Rome while wearing nothing but his make up. First Roman Emperor to rape a vestal virgin on sacred ground and subsequently condemn her to burial alive (the proscribed punishment) for failing to maintain her chastity. Died by assassination: was dragged through Rome with a meathook and flung into the Tiber.
